
Autodesk – Competition Law Training Made Fun
VIA worked with Autodesk to create a course with a fun approach to the serious subject of compliance and completion law. In the backdrop of a conference in Las Vegas where the keynote speaker is an Elvis impersonator, users watch a 1950’s style tongue-in-cheek instructional video to get the basics of the course.

Avista – Modernizing Regulator Training
Avista won a grant to modernize an old paper-based training course that hadn’t been updated in over 50 years and they chose VIA to help bring it into the 21st century. These six modules are designed to support Instructor-led trainings on Regulator Theory for electricians. The project included custom-made graphic diagrams and quizzes.

Bonneville Power Association – Avatar: Making Training Interesting
The BPA NERC/SIP course models the training after the events in a BPA employee’s day. VIA incorporated an avatar in the training which helps engage the learner and provide an interesting and exciting way to deliver the critical information.

Cheetah Medical: NICOM Training
Cheetah Medical engaged VIA Learning to create a training course on the purpose and use of a new and innovative heart monitoring device.

Comcast & NBC Universal: Localizing Anti-Corruption Training
VIA developed this Flash course to provide an overview of Comcast’s Anti-Corruption Laws Policy and related procedures, as well as the International Trade Controls and Money Laundering Prevention rules. The project included scenarios with Comcast employees and a cumulative quiz at the end of course. This was designed with future localization in mind.

General Mills
VIA Learning created a web-based training module directed at new managers within the organization. This module introduced new management concepts to the learners and is also formatted for mobile delivery.

Hanna Andersson: On-the-floor Retail Sales Training
These retail sales trainings are for new Hanna Andersson employees. VIA designed the Flash-based modules to operate on employees’ Point of Sale devices, so that they can take short chunks of training while remaining accessible to customers.

HP - Software Sales Onboarding Commercial Readiness
This course introduces a custom sales process, to be learned by new as well as seasoned sales people. VIA created this scenario-based program to introduce and reinforce the basic concepts behind the sales process.

Olympics - Dwarf Planets - Storm Chasers
VIA designed these games to be used for a variety of departments and divisions within HP. The game templates all include a video for learning followed by questions which earn the learner points to use in the game portion.

Intel – Game-based Sales Training Reinforcement
VIA Learning designed this game to reinforce a quarterly sales training on new Intel products such as Ultrabooks. Features include:
- Avatar builder
- 3 levels of gameplay
- Leaderboard

Mercer: Cross-Functional Sales e-Learning Training Program
This consulting, outsourcing and investment services company wanted to cross-train its senior consultants in order to offer more complete solutions in an effort to improve client satisfaction while increasing growth and profitability. VIA Learning developed a web-based training program with five, real-world examples to accurately depict the company and the hypothetical clients.

Oregon Health and Science University: Public Safety Training
VIA developed this course to help OHSU fulfill an Oregon mandate to deliver safety training to all staff in addition to raising awareness and understanding of OHSU policies, procedures and safety recommendations in dealing with potentially violent patients.

Trace - Anti-Corruption Training
VIA developed this course to provide an overview of anti-bribery and anti-corruption lessons in a non-linear fashion. The project includes scenarios that users could easily find themselves in and helps them identify how-to quickly learn from the mistakes of others. This was designed with future localization in mind, and has since been localized into over a dozen different languages.

Waste Management: eLearning for Outside and Inside Sales
VIA Learning created an eLearning course for Waste Management outside and inside sales representatives to educate them on the features and benefits of a new product, the Bagster. This eLearning module was supported with mobile courses as well. One mobile course supports sales enablement, the other is strictly product information.

Yesmail – Mobile Account Manager Training
Yesmail needed help training its staff, so VIA created a program providing Account Managers with pertinent product knowledge and outlining the new Enterprise7. VIA Learning utilized the MobilePaks platform to create and deliver the micro learning and mobile training to Yesmail’s staff.
